Job summary
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks Medical Assistant I-III to support patient care under licensed professionals across levels I–III. Roles include basic patient care, safety, and delegated tasks with escalating responsibilities.
Candidates may have a MA program credential or related experience plus BLS, basic medical terminology, and computer skills. Team benefits and comprehensive care delivery support are available.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year related experience without certification.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Basic medical/nursing terminology.
- Computer proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Medical Assistant I: provide supportive patient care functions under supervision.
- Medical Assistant I: ensure patient safety and comfort per standards.
- Medical Assistant I: perform delegated tasks by physician or RN.
- Medical Assistant II: includes MA I duties, administer injectables, perform advanced tasks.
- Medical Assistant II: requires additional experience/certification.
- Medical Assistant III: includes MA I & II duties, perform high-level procedures, serve as a resource.
