Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (PCA) on a Per Diem, onsite basis. You will support the RN with clinical tasks, monitor glucose, assist with EKGs, dressings, and respond to emergencies using CPR/AED. You will also attend to patient and family needs and help maintain unit efficiency.

The position is 7 South - Med/Surg; weekend and holiday rotation may apply, with shifts and schedule described in the posting. Prior CNA/PCA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED certificate required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant license required.
• Prior PCA/CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with clinical tasks, including blood glucose monitoring, completing EKGs, applying dressings, and using aseptic technique.
• Respond to patient and family needs and contribute to efficient unit operations.
