Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED certificate required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant license required.
• Prior PCA/CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN with clinical tasks including blood glucose monitoring and EKGs; apply simple dressings; use aseptic technique and respond to medical emergencies with Heartsaver CPR and AED skills.
• Respond to the needs of patients and family members and support efficient operation of the unit.
• Promote the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in a best-practice environment.
