Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. in Jamaica Plain, MA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (PCA) to join the patient care team onsite.

Under the RN, you will assist with glucose monitoring, EKGs, dressings, aseptic technique, and CPR/AED readiness; respond to emergencies and patient/family needs; participate in unit operations. Prior CNA/PCA experience preferred; part-time, rotating shifts; per diem.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant license required.
• AHA Heartsaver CPR and AED certification required.
• Prior PCA/CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with clinical tasks including blood glucose monitoring and EKGs.
• Apply simple dressings and use aseptic technique.
• Respond to medical emergencies using Heartsaver CPR/AED.
• Support patients, families, and efficient unit operation.
