Job summary

Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, NJ, is seeking a part-time Social Worker PD (LCSW) for the Evergreen IOP program. The Per Diem role supports patient care across inpatient/outpatient settings, providing assessment, counseling, and coordination with care teams.

The LCSW will perform CBT/insight-based therapy, discharge planning, and community resource linkage, with emphasis on ethics, documentation, and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work required.
• LCSW license in NJ required.
• Minimum 2 years of psychotherapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-focused, evidence-based care to diverse patients and families.
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, intervention, and outcome evaluation.
• Coordinate with health care providers and community services to ensure appropriate care.
• Engage in discharge planning and linkage to community resources.
• Conduct psychotherapy using CBT/DBT/psychodynamic approaches as appropriate.
