Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking an Occupational Therapist Per Diem to evaluate and treat patients in their homes, promoting independence and safety through customized plans of care.

You will collaborate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to implement physician-approved plans, while ensuring high-quality care and compliance with agency policies. The role supports flexible scheduling and varied workload in home health settings.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an occupational therapy program accredited by ACOTE of AOTA or successor
• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state
• Eligible for NBCOT entry-level certification or has completed it
• Current CPR certification
• 1+ years of related OT experience; if <1 year, regional approval and mentoring may be required

Aufgaben

• Responsible for all aspects of occupational therapy service delivery under a physician approved plan of care
• Ensures the plan of care addresses all problems identified in the assessment or documents rationale if not addressed
• Accountable for the safety and effectiveness of the OT service delivery process
• Completes documentation timely and accurately
• Supervises home health aide when RN is not active in the case
• Other duties as assigned
