Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in their homes to promote independence, safety, and quality of life. You will collaborate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to create individualized plans of care following physician orders and agency policies.

Responsibilities include delivering OT services, documenting promptly, and supervising home health aides when needed.

Formación

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Eligible to take NBCOT certification or already certified.
• One year related occupational therapy experience or approved mentoring if less than one year.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver occupational therapy services under an approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses identified problems and documents rationale.
• Maintain safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
