Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking an Occupational Therapist Per Diem to evaluate and treat patients in their homes, promoting independence, safety, and quality of life. You will collaborate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans in line with physician orders and agency policies.

This per-diem role supports flexible scheduling in home health settings.

Qualifikationen

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
• Eligible to take or have completed NBCOT certification examination.

Aufgaben

• Responsible for all aspects of occupational therapy service delivery under a physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure the plan of care addresses problems identified in the assessment.
• Accountable for the safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Completes documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervises home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.
