Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Float Pool nurse to provide high‑quality care across multiple adult medical–surgical and telemetry units at Milton site. You will adapt to different care settings each shift, using strong clinical judgment to support patient needs and safety.

This per diem role includes a 16 hours-per-month minimum commitment, one winter holiday and one summer holiday, and one weekend shift per month, with competitive pay and growth opportunities within the BILH system.

Qualifications

• Recent acute Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association before hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care utilizing the Nursing Process: assesses health status, analyzes data, and develops and evaluates care plans.
• Coordinates with health care providers to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Delivers care across adult medical–surgical and telemetry units, and participates in unit-based QA and committees as directed.
