Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an experienced RN for our Nursing Float Pool. This role involves floating between Medical/Surgical, Telemetry Step Down, ICU, and Emergency Department to support patient care across units.

You will build your career with our team while expanding clinical knowledge and earning potential. We seek candidates with current RN licensure, BLS, and a willingness to learn across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• 1 year RN staff experience in medical/surgical or telemetry preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent and compassionate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients’ physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, and discharge planning needs.
• Implement and coordinate plan of care with physicians and the health care team.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other care team members.
• Develop and revise care plans, including discharge planning, with patient/family input.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record.
