Job summary

Baptist Health seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (PRN) at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. The RN will supervise and coordinate nursing activities on the shift, including weekends and holidays, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care.

The RN uses the nursing process for assessments, planning, and interventions, and collaborates with physicians and other clinicians to plan and implement patient care. Active RN licensure, BLS required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns.
