Job summary

Baptist Health in Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse (PRN) to supervise and coordinate nursing staff on the Third Shift, weekends and holidays, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care.

You will apply the nursing process to patient assessments, planning and interventions, collaborate with physicians and clinicians, and may take on additional duties within the scope of the role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and document safety and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning and care interventions.
• Collaborate with Physicians and other clinicians in patient care planning.
• May assume additional duties within the scope of the role.
