Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama in Montgomery is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department 3pm-3am shift. The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, ensure quality and continuity of patient care, and apply the nursing process for assessments, planning, and interventions.

You will collaborate with physicians and clinicians, may take on additional duties within scope, and must hold an active RN license with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• Additional duties may be assigned within the scope of the role.
