Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assesses the patient's physical and psychological condition in the ED and documents the findings.
  • Adheres to Westerly Hospital policies and procedures.
  • Acts as a clinical resource and role model; participates in staff education.
  • Demonstrates high levels of respect, dignity, compassion and professionalism for all patients and families.
  • Collaborates with team; ensures on-time attendance and adherence to shifts.
  • Manages resources and follows hospital policies for accurate documentation and care delivery.

Responsibilities
  • 1. Essential Functions
    • 1.1 Assesses the patient's physical and psychological condition on an ongoing basis throughout the continuum of care in the ED. Documents appropriately the information obtained from the ongoing assessment. Shares significant assessment data with the appropriate discipline.

Qualifications
EDUCATION

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Experience

ED experience required

LICENSURE
