Job summary

Westerly Hospital is seeking a qualified ED nurse to manage goaldirected nursing care using the nursing process. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration, and ongoing staff education within the ED environment.

The candidate must have nursing licensure, ED experience, and BLS/ACLS with PALS within 1 year of hire. This on-site position focuses on high-quality clinical care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Current state registration or eligibility to do so.
• BLS, ACLS Required. PALS certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's physical and psychological condition regularly throughout the ED care continuum.
• Adhere to Westerly Hospital policies and procedures.
• Act as a clinical resource and role model for staff.
• Participate in training and education activities for staff members.
• Demonstrate professionalism and high-quality patient-family centered care.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely, safe patient care.
• Report to work on time and follow hospital policies on attendance and leave.
