Job summary

Yale New Haven Health's Westerly Hospital seeks a skilled nurse to manage goaldirected, individualized care in the ED, using the nursing process and primary nursing principles.

Graduate from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure. ED experience required; BLS/ACLS; PALS within 1 year of hire. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while upholding patient-centered values and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state RN licensure or eligibility; BLS and ACLS required; PALS certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• ED nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient’s physical and psychological condition and documents data throughout the continuum of care.
• Adheres to Westerly Hospital policies and procedures.
• Acts as a clinical resource and role model for staff.
• Participates in training and educational activities for other staff members.
