Benchmark Senior Living provides a pay range of $17.25/hr - $18.50/hr. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience; please discuss with your recruiter for more details.

Position Details

We are seeking a compassionate Per Diem Van Driver to join our team. The Van Driver is responsible for transporting community residents safely and efficiently. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing transportation activities as needed.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain vehicles according to warranty requirements and internal maintenance schedules to ensure safety and operational readiness.
2. Act as an Activity Assistant during excursions, staying with the group except when parking the van.
3. Transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and shopping trips.
4. Monitor resident activity and alert staff when assistance is needed to ensure safety.

Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Interest in elderly care and understanding of their needs.
3. Experience in activities or recreation preferred.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
6. Chauffeur's license preferred.
