Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Central Maine Long Term Care seeks a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to administer medications and support resident well-being in an on-site, per diem role. The shift is evenings, with supervision by a licensed nurse and collaboration with the care team.

Educated candidates will hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, a CRMA or PSS certificate (training within 4 months), and a state-approved 40-hour medication administration certification; prior long-term care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Residential Care Specialist 1 or Personal Support Specialist certificate; training within 4 months.
• State-approved 40-hour medication administration certification.
• Prior long-term care resident care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications to residents under physician orders and licensed nurse supervision.
• Performs routine tasks to maintain residents' health, comfort, and well-being.
• Works with residents, families, medical staff and facility personnel; may seek direction from a charge nurse or administrator.
• Provides resident care when not serving as a CRMA.
