Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the Med Surg/Telemetry Department. This Per Diem position offers day shifts and requires assisting with activities of daily living and basic nursing care under RN supervision.

Minimum six months’ acute care or physician’s office experience preferred; CNA certificate and BLS within 30 days are required. Competitive pay and benefits may apply to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and helps maintain a safe environment under supervision of the Registered Nurse.
