Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is seeking a Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry department to support basic nursing care and activities of daily living under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

The role requires a Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, BLS, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months in an acute care setting; full-time, day shifts, with benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
