Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in Dover, NJ invites a dedicated Nurse Assistant to join the Med Surg/Telemetry team on a Per Diem night shift. You will support daily living activities, assist with basic nursing tasks, and help maintain patient safety under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Qualified candidates hold a CNA certificate (preferred), BLS within 30 days, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months' acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Maintain a safe environment under RN supervision in Med Surg/Telemetry.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
