Job summary

Qualified candidates hold a CNA certificate (preferred), BLS within 30 days, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months' acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Maintain a safe environment under RN supervision in Med Surg/Telemetry.
