Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Certifications relevant to the department and type of care being provided may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the licensed nurse in patient care tasks.
• Support with activities of daily living and patient comfort.
• Greet patients and families; respond to requests with nurse supervision as needed.
• Record and communicate patient data to the assigned nurse.
• Prepare rooms for admissions, transfers, or discharges.
• Assist with transport of patients as needed and ensure patient safety.
