Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of an accredited program in cardiac and vascular ultrasound.
• Registered with ARDMS as RDCS and RVT OR CCI as RCS and RVS. One cardiac and one vascular credential; can apply with one credential and obtain the other within one year.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cardiac ultrasound studies including echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
• Perform all vascular ultrasound studies including carotid duplex and extremity duplex studies.
• Create preliminary reports and document scans per departmental procedures.
• Adhere to NYU protocols and IAC/ACR standards; monitor patient comfort and privacy.
• Assist with accreditation documentation and submit studies to management.
