Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an entry-level Behavioral Health Technician to support clients with mental health needs in Warminster, PA. The role focuses on maintaining a therapeutic environment, assisting with activities of daily living, and collaborating with the clinical team to implement interventions.

Responsibilities include documenting in client records, performing screenings as needed, and ensuring safety and engagement during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with clients with mental health issues.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• TB test clearance required.
• Willingness to complete BHT and CPI training within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical team to determine appropriate interventions.
• Engage clients in milieu activities and group settings.
• Prompt and supervise ADLs and room hygiene.
• Conduct client drug screening, pregnancy tests, and breathalyzers as needed.
• Document services, incident reports, shift and milieu notes timely.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment and respond to crises using de-escalation techniques.
