Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Warminster, PA seeks an entry-level Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for per diem shifts. You will support clients with daily living activities, document in client records, and collaborate with the clinical team to maintain a therapeutic environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least 1 year of experience with mental health clients; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and a valid driver's license is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Requires 1+ year experience working with clients with mental health issues.
• Valid Driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with clinical team to determine/interventions based on client needs.
• Engages clients in milieu and group activities throughout the day.
• Prompts clients to complete ADLs and conducts room hygiene checks.
• Conducts client drug screening, pregnancy tests, and breathalyzers as necessary.
• Maintains a therapeutic environment and uses de-escalation techniques.
• Documents services, incident reports, and shift notes in a timely manner.
