Job summary

LCB Senior Living is seeking an Activity Assistant for Maple Ridge of Essex Junction, VT. The position is part-time with per diem benefits, offering a wage range of $19.00–$22.00 per hour based on experience.

The role focuses on planning and implementing activities, fostering resident engagement, and maintaining positive relationships with residents and families. A valid driver’s license and ability to assist with transportation are also expected.

Qualifications

• Plan, develop and implement activities for residents.
• Encourage daily resident participation and engagement.
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Proficient with common office software for newsletters and calendars.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize and implement activities.
• Develop ideas to expand the Activities Program.
• Maintain warm, professional relationships with residents and families.
• Arrange transportation and escorts for activities outside the residence.
• Assist with monthly newsletters and weekly calendars.
• Support volunteer programs and residence store operations.
