Job summary

LCB Senior Living, LLC is seeking an Activity Assistant for The Residence at Pearl Street in Reading, MA. The role is part-time (up to 12-18 hours weekly) with rotating Saturdays, offering an hourly wage of $19.00–$21.00 based on experience.

Ideal candidates foster warm, compassionate care for seniors, assist in activity planning, and support transportation, newsletters, and volunteer programs. A valid driver’s license and HS diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in recreational therapy or related field preferred.
• Gerontology experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in state of work with few moving violations.
• Must be able to lift at least 15 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing activities.
• Develop ideas to improve the Activities Program.
• Maintain warm, caring relationships with residents and families.
• Arrange transportation and escorts for residents to activities.
• Assist with volunteer programs and store operations.
• Assist with monthly newsletter or weekly calendar.
