Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a PeopleSoft Developer III with military personnel/pay experience for IPPS-A Army Military Payroll support. The role focuses on designing solutions and extending PeopleSoft capabilities within an agile team to meet development objectives.

The position requires a BS in CS/Engineering or 2+ years in federal government with PeopleTools/SQL expertise and a Secret clearance. On-site with hybrid work in Arlington, VA; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Software or Engineering or 2+ years in government DoD/Army/IC preferred.
• PeopleSoft PeopleTools and SQL knowledge required; experience with Military Pay.
• Strong communication skills and US citizenship with Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Follow technical design specifications.
• Extend PeopleSoft software functionality to meet design specifications using PeopleTools.
• Configure modules in PeopleSoft software to meet design specifications.
• Provide estimates for work assignments.
• Document software configurations in prescribed documentation tool(s).
• Conduct unit testing in line with defined quality engineering processes.
• Conduct software development activities in support of application enhancements and system defects.
• Conduct peer reviews on other teammates’ configuration and code to ensure accuracy and alignment to overall architecture and design.
• Explain technical approach and code to team members.
• Demonstrate software functionality to end users.
