Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Software Developer III to join the IPPS-A AMP program in a hybrid Arlington, VA environment. The role focuses on extending PeopleSoft functionality and collaborating in an agile team to deliver secure payroll solutions.

The ideal candidate has a BS in software/engineering or 2+ years in government work, with strong PeopleSoft PeopleTools and SQL skills, experience in Military Pay, and a current Secret clearance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer software or engineering or 2+ years in federal government/DoD/IC preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a computer software-related field.

Responsibilities

• Follow technical design specifications.
• Extend PeopleSoft functionality using PeopleTools.
• Configure modules in PeopleSoft to meet design specs.
• Provide estimates for work assignments.
• Document software configurations in prescribed tools.
• Conduct unit testing per quality processes.
• Develop software to support app enhancements and defects.
• Perform peer reviews on configuration and code for accuracy and alignment.
• Explain technical approach and code to team members.
• Demonstrate software functionality to end users.
