Job summary

Nakupuna Companies is seeking a Software Developer III to extend PeopleSoft functionality for the IPPS-A Army Military Payroll program, leveraging military personnel/pay experience.

The role requires a current Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and will be based in Arlington, Virginia with two days on-site and a hybrid option. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in CS or Engineering or 2+ years ofDoD/IC experience.
• Must have PeopleSoft PeopleTools and SQL; military pay experience.

• Conduct software development activities in support of application enhancements and system defects.
• Conduct peer reviews on other teammates’ configuration and code to ensure accuracy and alignment to overall architecture and design.
• Explain technical approach and code to team members.
• Demonstrate software functionality to end users.

Overview

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a P eoplesoft developer with military personnel/pay experience . This role is a Software Developer III and will join the software development team s upporting the execution of a large size , multi-year contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP).The Software Developer (Developer) III will be an agile development team member, responsible for designing technical solutions and extending PeopleSoft application functionality to meet development team o bjectives . The Software Developer III should be comfortable working in an agile team environment, collaborating with team members to remove blockers and resolve problems, and sharing information within and across teams.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science degree in a Computer Software or Engineering major or 2 or more years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience working in a computer software-related field required.

Skills/Qualifications: PeopleSoft PeopleTools and S QL knowledge required, as is experience with Military Pay. Strong communication skills required. Certifications in PeopleSoft PeopleTools, and SAFe for Teams preferred.

Clearance Requirements: This position requires a current Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Work Location: Work location will be in Arlington, Virginia 2 days on-site with a hybrid option. Occasional travel may be required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $105,000.00 to $160,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
