Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Software Developer III with PeopleSoft and military personnel/pay experience to join IPPS-A Army Military Payroll projects in Arlington, VA.

This full-time salaried role requires a current Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to work in an agile team with on-site and hybrid options.

Responsibilities include extending PeopleSoft functionality, configuring modules, testing, and collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Software or Engineering, or 2+ years in federal government-related software.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft PeopleTools and SQL; Military Pay experience.
• Current Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Responsibilities

• Extend PeopleSoft functionality using PeopleTools to meet design specifications.
• Configure modules in PeopleSoft to meet design specs.
• Provide estimates for work assignments and document configurations.
• Conduct unit testing and software development for enhancements and defects.
• Perform peer reviews and explain technical approaches to teammates.
• Demonstrate software functionality to end users.
