Job summary

Block is building a scalable People Technology platform to empower the employee lifecycle from recruiting to offboarding. We are moving from standard SaaS to a secure, integrated infrastructure with data APIs and AI agents to support the People teams globally.

Reporting to the Head of People Technology, you will start by partnering with Talent Acquisition and expand across the People portfolio. You will automate recurring work, create reusable tools, and establish shared platform capabilities

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Experience managing enterprise People platforms such as Workday, Greenhouse, or similar systems, including hands-on work designing or implementing integrations using APIs, middleware, ETL tools, or integration platforms.
Experience supporting Recruiting or Talent Acquisition through technology, with understanding of offer approvals, requisition flows, and sourcing/assessment tools.

Responsibilities

Partner with Talent Acquisition to understand business challenges and identify opportunities to improve work through technology and AI.
Advise teams as they evaluate and design AI-enabled solutions that are scalable, secure, and grounded in trusted People data.
Balance near-term delivery with longer-term platform investments to reduce duplication and speed up future development.
Build and enable shared integrations, data services, and platform automations for AI-powered solutions across People.
