Aurora Innovation Inc. is seeking a Director, Head of People Technology to transform our HR technology into a secure, scalable, and AI-integrated backbone. You will lead long-term platform strategy while executing hands-on configurations, data flows, and automation to reduce manual work and improve employee experience.

You will architect and govern complex HRIS ecosystems, partner with senior leaders, and mentor a high-impact platform team in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifikationen

• 14+ years of experience leading People / HR business technology, including 6+ years in leadership and management in high-growth technology environments.
• Proven hands-on configuration mastery of core enterprise HRIS platforms (Workday, Greenhouse, Ashby).
• Strong ability to design scalable data architectures, manage integrations, and map complex technical ecosystems.
• Experience operating in a public-company environment with a strong understanding of compliance, security controls, and audit expectations.

Aufgaben

• Drive Platform Strategy & Architecture for all People platforms (HRIS, ATS, Total Rewards, and Performance).
• Lead Technical Design & Data Integration; define data management strategy and build complex system crosswalks.
• Deploy AI & Automation to replace manual HR workflows with AI-powered agents.
• Establish governance with change management, data privacy, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with executive leadership across People, Finance, and Security IT on roadmap milestones.
