Job summary

Fabletics in El Segundo seeks a People Team Business Partner to partner with a designated cohort, support day-to-day operations, culture, communications, and collaboration with Total Rewards, HR Admin, Compliance, and payroll. This role acts as a voice for the organization and helps it operate as one team.

You will manage employee files, onboarding/offboarding, investigations, policy updates, and trainings, while analyzing HR metrics to guide talent strategies.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience as a high performing contributor to People Team functions (Generalist, BP, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Culture)
• Ability to align work with desired culture and develop it
• Experience supporting startup/tech or Ecom organizations
• Strong knowledge of employment policies and procedures
• Strong knowledge of employment/labor laws
• Exceptional interpersonal and consultative skills
• Cross-functional collaboration and project management
• Strategic thinker with focus on financial responsibility
• Meticulous, well organized, and able to handle ambiguity
• Analytical, quantitative, and Excel capability
• Independent thinker, direct communicator, willing to speak your mind
• Willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation
• Foundational AI literacy including generative AI tools

Responsibilities

• Champion a great place to work with a brand-focused culture
• Support People Team strategies and collaborate with the designated cohort
• Provide client-facing support on career management and team concerns
• Maintain employee files and manage onboarding/offboarding and leaves
• Partner on employee relations, performance management, and investigations
• Keep policies up to date with employment law changes
• Conduct trainings on performance reviews, orientation, benefits, and system updates
• Guide headcount and opex discussions with managers in the designated function
• Analyze HR metrics like time-to-hire and turnover to inform talent strategies
• Drive adoption and execution of approved HR strategies
