Job description

Job Description Fabletics is looking for a Senior Events Manager. How do you fit in? As the Senior Events Manager, you'll own Fabletics' brand events end to end — from strategic planning through execution and measurement — and support retail events as needed, acting as a thought-partner on our brand events strategy. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and collaborator, highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, well‑versed in event planning and agency management, and has executed large‑scale brand marketing events. You'll report to the Director of Social and Events, manage one direct report, and partner closely with cross‑functional Marketing teams (social media, content, creative, retail, etc.).

What you will do:
  • Own the brand events strategy: build and maintain the annual events calendar, aligning timing with marketing, product and retail moments to support business goals and the 360-consumer experience.
  • Own execution end to end — venue sourcing, contracts, logistics, travel, asset shipping, production schedules, run‑of‑show and day‑of operations.
  • Own the events budget: forecasting, tracking spend and reconciling invoices.
  • Manage external agencies, production partners and vendors on briefing, timelines and performance; partner with brand collaborators on co‑branded activations.
  • Set KPIs for each event and deliver post‑event recaps to leadership on performance, budget and recommendations for future activations.
  • Partner with Creative, Social and Comms on event marketing materials; coordinate with Retail, Ops, IT, Facilities and Legal on permits, insurance and on‑site health/safety requirements.
  • Manage brand presence at third‑party events (festivals, expos, wellness/fitness), including footprint design and on‑site execution.
  • Manage and develop one direct report — setting priorities, delegating workstreams and coaching toward the next level.
  • Build repeatable playbooks, briefing templates and vendor rosters to scale events without losing quality; support retail events with brand standards and toolkits.
What you can bring:
  • Bachelor's degree; emphasis in communications, marketing or public relations preferred.
  • 5-7 years of related experience in brand event planning and agency management across the fashion, beauty or wellness sector, with a balance of creative, strategic and executional strengths.
  • Proven track record executing large‑scale brand marketing events on time and on budget, including full ownership of event budgets — forecasting, tracking spend and reconciling invoices.
  • Proven experience managing external agencies and vendors, including scoping, briefing, holding partners accountable to deliverables and timelines, and negotiating contracts, SOWs and event insurance requirements.
  • 1+ year managing or mentoring a direct report, with a track record of developing junior talent.
  • Deep comfort with event logistics — venue sourcing, permits, production schedules, load‑in/load‑out and on‑site management.
  • Experience coordinating talent, influencers and VIP guests, including guest list management and day‑of hospitality.
  • A positive, high‑energy team player with excellent communication, organization and project management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and troubleshoot in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools; working knowledge of project management platforms (Asana, Monday.com or similar).
  • Willingness to travel and to work non‑standard hours, including evenings and weekends, during event periods.
  • Ideal candidate brings foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation.
