Job summary

TileBar is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to align business objectives with employees across designated units. You will partner with management to deliver HR services that support growth and effectiveness, including recruiting, staffing, and policy implementation.

You will research and implement strategies to attract diverse talent and improve retention while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Collaborative and detail-oriented professionals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
• Understand organization’s hierarchy and compensation practices.
• 3+ years recruiting, staffing, and retention experience.

Responsibilities

• Consult with line management to provide HR guidance.
• Analyze trends with HR Manager to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
• Improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Identify training needs for business units and executive coaching needs.
• Develop, facilitate, and implement recruitment processes.
• Draft detailed job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Identify and implement recruiting methods based on role and industry standards.
• Assist with job postings and advertisements.
• Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
• Schedule interviews and prepare interview materials.
• Assist with interview process with managers and stakeholders.
• Assist with offer process, salary ranges, incentives, start dates.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Attend job fairs and recruiting sessions.
