Job summary

Waymo is seeking a senior Professionals in People Operations to lead ServiceNow HRSD, knowledge management, and workflow design for a hybrid team. You will architect automated, self-service workflows and partner with IT to align processes with policy while advancing AI-enabled initiatives for faster employee support.

You will drive lifecycle events, onboarding experiences, and governance around sensitive People data, balancing security with user efficiency across a global footprint.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in People Operations, People Technology, or Service Management.
• Deep, hands-on ServiceNow HRSD experience including configuration, knowledge management, and workflow design.
• ServiceNow certifications (CIS-HR, CSA, CAD) or equivalent.
• Ability to map complex processes into automated workflows across People tools.
• Experience building or optimizing virtual agents and AI-driven search utilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional global initiatives and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strong data privacy mindset and knowledge of global privacy compliance (GDPR).
• Act as an internal process-design consultant to the broader People Team.

Responsibilities

• Execute the roadmap for how the People team uses ServiceNow to deliver self-service support.
• Govern global knowledge standards for searchable, accurate content aligned with policies.
• Partner on AI-enabled initiatives to reduce manual ticketing and speed resolution.
• Configure ServiceNow HRSD including templates, assignment rules, and user criteria.
• Design and test lifecycle events and workflows for onboarding and transfers.
• Coordinate with IT and Ops to align processes and troubleshoot system upgrades.
• Balance security, governance, and user experience while adopting new People tech.
