Job summary
Waymo is seeking a Business System Lead for Real Estate and HR, a strategic tech partner responsible for building, scaling, and modernizing enterprise applications powering Waymo’s workforce and workplace solutions. You will bridge People Operations, REWS, and Engineering to enable automated, AI-enabled workflows.
In this hybrid role, you will report to a Senior Manager Finance, Indirect Procurement & HR Systems, guiding cross-functional architectures and ensuring privacy and security controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical or business field.
- 8–10 years as a Business Systems Analyst supporting HR/facilities.
- Strong HR & Real Estate tech domain knowledge and Hire-to-Retire processes.
- Proficient in Agile/Scrum, backlog management, and prioritization.
- Excellent communication translating architectures for non-technical partners.
Responsibilities
- Define multi-year tech roadmap across People, Culture, and REWS.
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts, engineers, and PMs; manage backlogs and releases.
- Architect integrations for onboarding, role transfers, and provisioning.
- Evaluate and embed AI-native tools and RPA in core HR/workplace processes.
- Lead large SaaS implementations around Workday HCM, SAP integrations.
- Oversee changes, incident triage, data privacy and SOC/SOX controls.
