Job summary

Waymo is seeking a senior professional to lead People Operations technology initiatives. You will own ServiceNow HRSD configuration, knowledge management, and workflow design to enable self-service for a global workforce.

You will map complex People processes into automated workflows, drive cross-functional programs, and manage privacy and security considerations. The role is hybrid with strong collaboration across IT and HR partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in People Operations or Service Management.
• Deep ServiceNow HRSD expertise including configuration, knowledge management, and workflow design.
• ServiceNow certifications (CIS-HR, CSA or CAD).
• Systems thinking: map complex processes into automated workflows across People CoE tools.
• AI/self-service: experience with virtual agents or ML-driven search.
• Strong project management across global initiatives and stakeholders.
• Data privacy and GDPR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Execute the roadmap for People team using ServiceNow to deliver a self-service model.
• Govern knowledge management to keep content searchable and policy-aligned.
• Partner on AI-enabled initiatives like virtual agents and automated triage to speed resolution.
• Configure HRSD in ServiceNow and manage templates, rules, and criteria.
• Design lifecycle events and workflows to improve onboarding, transfers, and transitions.
• Collaborate across IT and People Ops to align processes and drive upgrades.
• Promote secure, governance-aware adoption of new People technologies.
