Job summary

Grand View Lodge is seeking a People Services Coordinator, Talent & Associate Experience to lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and associate engagement across the resort. You’ll partner with leaders to attract, welcome, and retain talent, while championing our culture and service standards.

In this role you’ll coordinate orientation, onboarding schedules, recognition programs, and engagement surveys, staying hands-on through peak seasons to support a welcoming, growth-minded workplace.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of recruiting, human resources, hospitality operations, or associate engagement experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a personal touch.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting for assigned positions: posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring managers through the selection process.
• Coordinate all pre-employment and onboarding activities: offer letters, background screenings, new hire paperwork, and onboarding schedules.
• Facilitate new associate orientation, presenting culture, policies, benefits, and service standards in an engaging and welcoming way.
• Serve as a go-to resource for new associates during their first weeks: follow-up check-ins and onboarding with department leaders.
• Coordinate associate recognition programs including monthly birthdays, work anniversaries, service awards, and quarterly celebration events.
• Support associate engagement surveys, culture initiatives, and resort-wide recognition efforts.
• Serve as a first point of contact for routine associate questions; escalate complex matters to the People Services Manager.
• Maintain accurate associate records, personnel files, and data integrity within ADP and other People Services systems.
• Assist with recruiting metrics, onboarding tracking, and engagement reporting as needed.
• This is a resort hospitality role; flexibility during peak hiring seasons and event periods is expected.
