Job summary

Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, MN is seeking a People Services Coordinator, Talent & Associate Experience to lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and associate engagement. You will partner with resort leaders, coordinate orientation and recognition programs, and maintain accurate HR records within ADP and HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in recruiting, human resources, hospitality operations, or associate engagement.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Hospitality, or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; connects well with associates and leaders at all levels.
• HR certification (SHRM-CP/PHR) is a plus; proficient with HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting for assigned positions: posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring managers.
• Coordinate all pre-employment and onboarding activities: offer letters, background screenings, new hire paperwork, onboarding schedules.
• Facilitate new associate orientation, presenting culture, policies, benefits, and service standards.
• Serve as a go-to resource for new associates during their first weeks; follow-up check-ins with department leaders.
• Coordinate associate recognition programs including monthly birthdays, work anniversaries, service awards, and quarterly events.
• Support associate engagement surveys, culture initiatives, and resort-wide recognition efforts.
• Serve as first point of contact for routine associate questions; escalate to People Services Manager as needed.
• Maintain accurate associate records in ADP and other HRIS systems; ensure data integrity.
• Assist with recruiting metrics, onboarding tracking, and engagement reporting.
• This is a resort hospitality role with flexibility during peak hiring seasons.
