Centene is seeking a People Relations Partner who acts as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, guiding on workplace matters while ensuring compliant employment practices. You will manage employee relations cases from intake through resolution, including disciplinary actions up to termination, in a fully remote role.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Admin or HR and 3+ years of relevant experience, with knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across the enterprise, providing guidance and support on a wide range of workplace matters while helping ensure fair, consistent, and compliant employment practices. The People Relations (PR) Partner manages employee relations cases from intake through resolution, including formal disciplinary action up to and including termination.
The People Relations Partner is fully remote. Candidates will be considered nationally.
Consult and provide advice, counsel and resolution to employees and managers on a broad range of employee relations matters, including policy interpretation and application, conflict resolution, performance management, progressive discipline, and termination processes and practices Partner with HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Expertise (COEs), internal and external legal counsel, and other internal investigative bodies, as necessary to reach an effective resolution for employee matters Utilize case management system to track and manage employee matters to resolution Interpret and apply understanding of company policies and practices, employment laws, and other regulations to provide advice, guidance, or clarification for employee relations inquiries Perform other duties as assigned Comply with all policies and standards
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in human resources, employee relations, or compliance. Knowledge and familiarity with state and federal employment laws and regulations
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred
Pay Range: $70,100.00 - $126,200.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
