Brex Inc. in New York City is seeking an Employee Relations Business Partner to elevate manager capability and accountability across the company.

You’ll coach managers, deliver feedback, and run end-to-end investigations to surface insights and improve performance. This hybrid role requires strong governance around performance management, investigations, and terminations, with opportunities to grow into a People Business Partner role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years HR experience in high-growth environments.
• Experience running employee investigations end-to-end with documentation and recommendations.
• Experience supporting or executing employee terminations.
• Strong knowledge of performance mgmt in high-performance cultures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with front-line managers to ensure consistent, fair performance management.
• Coach managers on setting expectations, delivering feedback, and acting on outcomes.
• Serve as first contact for performance-related questions and processes.
• Develop coaching plans, toolkits, and training to strengthen manager effectiveness.
• Lead employee investigations end-to-end and surface risks to leadership.
• Provide guidance on terminations and maintain process consistency.
• Coordinate promotions and calibration activities with People Partners.
• Assist with RTO audits in collaboration with Workplace Experience.
