Job summary

Google is seeking a senior People Partner to collaborate with product and engineering leaders in Mountain View and San Francisco. You will coach senior leaders, guide large-scale organizational change, and ensure people decisions are grounded in data while upholding Google’s culture and values.

You will drive organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development across a global product area, helping Googlers grow and navigate complex mapping and learning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience as an HR business partner or HR generalist supporting leaders at global companies.
• Experience in organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and organizational design.

Responsibilities

• Identify organizational and talent gaps, and people needs, to successfully execute business strategy, evaluating the talent landscape to inform resourcing and development plans within a medium- to high-complexity product area.
• Lead efforts to improve organizational health by monitoring trends and metrics related to new, undefined, or multi-dimensional problems, maintaining a pulse on the culture, speaking truth to leadership, and sponsoring a workforce environment.
• Build strong relationships with leaders and provide sound HR guidance on future or undefined problems, balancing client, business, and company needs against risks, with a focus on People consequences and reactions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader within the client organization.
• Prepare, support, and influence individuals, teams, and organizations in making organizational change in order to shape and deliver People Plans.
