Job summary

Google is seeking a People Operations partner to coach senior leaders and guide large-scale organizational change within a massive product area. You will partner with business leaders to ensure people decisions are data-driven and aligned with Google's culture and values.

You will focus on coaching top leadership talent, navigating employee relations, and managing programs that develop Googlers, while ensuring an environment of respect and transparency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience as an HR business partner or HR generalist supporting leaders at global companies.
• Experience in organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and organizational design.

Responsibilities

• Identify organizational and talent gaps, and people needs, to successfully execute business strategy, evaluating the talent landscape to inform resourcing and development plans within a medium- to high-complexity product area.
• Lead efforts to improve organizational health by monitoring trends and metrics related to new, undefined, or multi-dimensional problems, maintaining a pulse on the culture, speaking truth to leadership, and sponsoring a workforce environment.
• Build strong relationships with leaders and provide sound HR guidance on future or undefined problems, balancing client, business, and company needs against risks, with a focus on People consequences and reactions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader within the client organization.
• Prepare, support, and influence individuals, teams, and organizations in making organizational change in order to shape and deliver People Plans.
