Job summary

Air, based in Arlington, VA, is seeking a People Operations Manager to manage onboarding, HR administration, payroll, and benefits with a data-driven, compliant approach. This role sits on-site in Arlington with occasional travel to Pittsburgh.

You will partner with the People Ops Director and Finance to ensure seamless employee experiences, accurate records, and a positive culture that supports Air’s mission-driven security focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive HR/People Operations experience in tech, SaaS, or gov contracting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for policies, benefits, and workplace tools across the employee lifecycle.
• Lead onboarding and Day 1 experience in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
• Maintain and optimize HR systems and reporting; ensure data integrity.
