Job summary

CWILL in North Carolina is hiring an HR/Recruiting Coordinator to support recruitment, onboarding, and compliance. The role includes posting jobs, screening candidates, background checks, offer letters, and onboarding logistics. Based in Cary with a hybrid work arrangement.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of recruiting experience, knowledge of labor laws, strong communication skills, and familiarity with ATS and office tools. Salary range starts at 50–55k, negotiable.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recruiting or HR internship/work experience
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and hiring regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiar with ATS (Workable, LinkedIn Recruiter)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Suite; Notion and Slack are a plus

Responsibilities

• Recruitment support
• Post job ads on job boards and social media platforms
• Screen resumes and job applications
• Assist with background and reference checks
• Help prepare job offer letters
• Support recruitment events, such as job fairs and career expos
• Ensure the preboarding process goes smoothly
• Conduct new employee orientation sessions
• Take care of new hire paperwork and logistics
• Schedule meetings to discuss company policies and provide the employee handbook
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new employee inquiries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts and evaluations
• Collect and organize employment and tax information
• Assist with exit interviews and termination documentation
• Manage compensation and benefits documentation
• Process payroll tasks and related inquiries
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and approvals
• Work with managers to process compliance service requests
• Maintain compliance records and tracking tools
• Escalate complex issues to Compliance Specialists
