MatX in Mountain View is seeking a People Team Generalist to support engineers and run HR operations within a fast-growing AI hardware company. You will partner with the People Team Lead on onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee communications to shape a positive employee experience.

The role requires 3–4 years in People Ops or HR generalist/HRBP, strong prioritization, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years experience in People Ops, HR generalist, or HRBP or related role.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to people strategy with Talent mgmt, Professional Development & Leadership, and Engagement & HR Comms.
• Collaborate on culture events and workplace experience.
• Partner to drive day-to-day People Ops: benefits, payroll, HRIS, onboarding/offboarding, communications, policies, vendor liaison, immigration matters.
• Collaborate with managers and teams to evolve people practices as we scale.
