Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking an HR Generalist to manage a broad range of people operations initiatives from hire to retire. You will champion culture, strengthen the employee experience, and partner with the HR Generalist team to foster a high-growth environment in San Francisco.

You will own onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinate with HRBPs and IT, provide timely HR support, and assist with payroll and compliance activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist or People Operations experience in a fast-paced tech or high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of onboarding, offboarding, benefits, leaves, accommodations, payroll support, and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage sensitive data with discretion and exercise sound judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization.
• Experience with HRIS systems and HR tech platforms (Rippling/Workday is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Champion Lambda’s culture, mission, and values throughout the employee experience.
• Deliver seamless onboarding, including pre-boarding, Day 1 coordination, and collaboration with hiring managers.
• Own end-to-end offboarding, including deprovisioning and exit interviews.
• Provide HR support via ticketing system and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Backup payroll processing and assist with payroll reviews and issue resolution.
• Support HR compliance activities and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain workplace postings and ensure labor law notices are current.
• Coordinate leaves and accommodations with leads and HR teams.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and process data changes in Rippling/Workday.
